PARIS AND LONDON

YESSTYLE

So my schools Paris and London trip is in less than two weeks now and some of the clothes I bought online just came in the mail a couple days ago! I got all these great pieces from YESSTYLE. Which is a Korean women and mens clothing website which ships and delivers free to Australia if you spend AU$25 or over. I decided to buy basic clothing so it can be easy to match and layer with my other clothes. Layering is essential for the extreme cold weather they have in Paris and London at this time of the year.

CCP SALON 2013

This Thursday night was the opening of the CCP Salon 2013. A competition my friend EvelynTeri and I entered.
Australia's largest open-entry, photo-media exhibition and competition, CCP Salon presented by Leica and Ilford is now in its 21st year! CCP Salon presents an exciting and diverse snapshot of contemporary, Australian photo-media practice and presents an excellent opportunity for emerging and established photo-based artists to exhibit work.

This annual event celebrates the latest developments in photo-media practice around the country, and provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit work in a professional, high-profile context.

My work exhibited at CCP titled "CLOSED" 2013.

I actually died seeing this, it was so unreal. First time exhibiting at such a professional and high profile gallery.

All the works in the exhibition were so amazing, and even though I didn't win any prizes it was still such a great experience and a wonderful opportunity to be exhibited at CCP.

Was an eventful night!

POLYVORE | INSPIRATION

Louis Vuitton S/S RTW 2014 collection inspired look.

I wanted to create a look that draws on the inspiration of Marc Jacobs last collection for Louis Vuitton. The collection features the use of black, mesh, navy, denim and embroidered detailing. I created a look on Polyvore that subtly uses those elements into a simple and elegant outfit.

Jacket: Denim Classic

OOTD

Hello again,

Was a chilly day in Melbourne. But yesterday I got new lipstick from Sportsgirl and I decided it's a perfect colour for this cold spring weather. I went for quite a dark look today, to match with the lipstick. And to break all the black in my outfit I put on a brown coat, I thrifted a while back. I also wore some white and black polka dot socks with my brown ankle boots. And to complete the look I just tied my hair into a low pony.

Lipstick: Sportsgirl | Pout About It! | Dark Angel
Turtleneck shirt: Thrifted at my local op shop | Bossini
Coat: Thrifted (unknown brand)
Black jeans: Ziggy
Ankle boots: Lipstick
Bag: Esprit (my normal/everyday bag I bring for school)

XXL

So I've had this peach XXL shirt I got from an op shop about a year ago, just sitting in my closet. I decided to turn it into a dress.

DIY

I've added a waistband to the shirt to give it more shape (I forgot to take a picture of the original shirt, woops sorry). I marked where I wanted the waistband to sit and I sewed on the elastic with a zig zag stitch, make sure you keep stretching the elastic whilst sewing.

The collar of the shirt is embellished with beads and I love the little details. And it also has little pearls for buttons, which makes it even better. I paired the shirt dress with my Guess boyfriend jeans and my Urban Outfitters clogs (it doesn't have a brand but it says it's made from Sweden!). Can't wait to wear this out.
