LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Hey everyone, so I've started sewing again and I made this black dress. I got the material from my local op shop. They usually have a couple metres of material just lying around, people just donate unused or unwanted material, I really do recommend checking your local op shop out if your looking for material for a great bargain. I didn't get to take any photos of the process to show you guys how I made the dress, but contact me if you would like to know or think I should do a DIY post! I also added a cut out with a chule insert at the front to make it a little different.

I also got the opportunity to shoot with the amazing Melissa Juratowitch wearing my dress, here are some of the photos. Hope you guys like them!

When I finish school I'm planning to sell some of the clothes I make, or maybe start a clothing store? Give me any feed back of what you guys think or if you guys have any suggestion of what I can do!

BAGGY DENIM | OOTD

Hey all!

I'm obsessed with these baggy high waisted pants I recently got from a friend, it makes any outfit look effortless and most importantly comfortable. Whenever I wear a baggy pant or a long skirt I always wear a top that is also loose fitted, so i can complete the "lazy" look.

I always under estimate Melbourne weather... of course, it's 33 degrees in Autumn. So it's probably best to wear these type of pants on a cooler day because the shirring elastic at the bottom of the pants makes your legs really hot and sweaty, just saying. I wore the thin jumper because it's usually really cold in the morning when I go to school so I thought a cream coloured jumper would go perfect with the light blue denim.

OOTD:
Sheer top: Op shop (no brand), any loose fitted top would look great with this outfit!
Lace singlet: I have no clue (no brand), but you can buy these from BigW or Target for around $5.
Pants: From a friend (brand is Element, guessing it's from a surf shop).
Jumper: Valleygirl basics (only $9.95!)
Belt: Daiso (only $2.80!)
Sandals: Zomp
Tote: Palais de Tokyo tote bag
Sunglasses: 100 Squared, Melbourne Central

ALL WHITE

My all white outfit is inspired by the amazing Ivania Carpio, owner of love-aesthetics.blogspot.com and instagram @love_aesthetics. She has always been my favourite blogger, the simplicity in her outfits and the creative DIY clothing and accessories are just to die for. If you guys want simple minimalistic style visit her blog for some inspo!

OOTD:
T-shirt: Oversized tee from my dad's closet (if you're looking for a plain white t-shirt, stores like K-Mart, BigW and Target are great places to get basics. Also look at the mens section!)
Pants: White pants from Zara
Sandals: 2 Baia Vista Jandle, Zomp
Tote: Palais de Tokyo

P.S When you're wearing all white or all black try to keep accessories minimal, you want your outfit to look simple and chic. If you want to accessorise make sure to keep to one colour, like all silver or all gold.

AUTUMN | OOTD

Autumn is my absolute favourite season! Cold weather means layers, boots, scarves and hats. Since it's only the start of autumn it's still reasonably warm so you've gotta be smart with layering. I wore a thin singlet under a knitted jumper with a raincoat, paired with jeans and sandals.

Hat: GANT (from dad's hat collection)
Glasses: OPSM prescription glasses, Burberry
Jeans: Ziggy skinny jeans
Jumper: Korean shop in lower level Melbourne Central
Raincoat: Sussan (from mum's closet)
Tote: Palais de Tokyo tote bag
Sandals: Zomp on Little Collins st
